In this article, I will explain how unbalanced counting systems arise from a generalisation of balanced count systems and deliver two different, but complementary benefits. As shown in the famous book, ‘The Theory of Blackjack" by Peter Griffin, the advantage to the player before any cards are dealt varies in a way that is dependent on the cards which have been removed from the deck or the shoe.
