What follows is the press release sent out to reporters, TV, newsprint, and radio on the upcoming World Casino Championships in Las Vegas. The release summarizes all the activities that are planned as well as who will be appearing and the courses being offered. If you’re looking for a great casino weekend of nine tournaments in blackjack, craps, Pai Gow poker, baccarat and slots; along with special classes taught by such experts as best-selling authors Henry Tamburin, Dominator, Bill Burton and Frank Scoblete and by such gaming columnists as Jerry "Stickman" and John "Skinny," plus added fun at parties, lunches, a chance to win $25,000 and $50,000, and a giant Awards Banquet…sound good?
Then put August 14, 15 and 16 on your calendar and get to Las Vegas for this fabulous weekend!
This is a once in a lifetime event for casino players from all over the country and Canada to meet and greet each other and learn from the experts and compete at the various games.
There will be a special "Wild Card" entry into all finals – so even if you were eliminated, you still might get in!
You’ll also get to meet and play in the tournaments with Patricia DeMauro, the woman who set the World Craps Record for 154 rolls before sevening out. Is she the luckiest woman in the world? Well, she overcame odds of 5.59 billion to one!
Finally, got some casino playing friends, relatives or acquaintances? Want to form a team? We will be giving out team championships too – to the team that gets the most total points!

"Meet and Greet," "Lunches," and "Championship Awards Banquet" will allow friends and relatives who are not participating in the tournaments/classes to participate for certain fees. Refunds before July 1st, 2009 will have a $50 service fee deducted. No refunds on or after July 21st, 2009.
