I felt like I was effectively playing on auto-pilot. I think that any skilled player would have made exactly the same bets that I made and played the hands in exactly the same way. In this back-to-basics article, I'll show you the situation and let you play along with me. The format was a one-advance format with $10 minimum bets and no maximum bet. Bets must be made in $5 increments. We'll join the action with three hands to go. In each case I'll show the players in their order of action as the button moves. Hand 13 of 15:
To be clear, I act last on this third-to-last hand, which means that on the final hand the button will be at BR2 and I will be acting second then. There is one and only one bet that makes sense here.
