DUE DILLIGENCE: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING ABLE TO PLAY OR NOT by Ralph Stricker Ralph Stricker has been a successful professional blackjack player for many years, developer of the famous Silver Fox Card Blackjack System, and one of the blackjack legends described in the book, "Legends of Blackjack." In his articles for the BJI, Stricker describes his blackjack career, specifically how and where he started playing, teaching, and managing blackjack teams, as well some personal experiences that affected him along the way. You can purchase a copy of Stricker’s "Silver Fox Blackjack System" through Gambler’s Book Club in Las Vegas. If you want the book autographed, send a check for $32.95 made payable to Ralph Stricker (price includes priority mailing in US), and mail to Ralph Stricker, 500 Adams Lane, Ste.14R, North Brunswick, NJ 08902.No matter how well you play, keep the count, vary your bets correctly, deviate from basic strategy, etc. if the casinos do not allow you to play, what good are all of these attributes? I was firmly convinced that a person had to know more than just the established norms of card counting. There was a lot more to know and I was determined to learn everything I could to minimize the chances of being barred. How did I accomplish this? Keep reading. I decided to learn how to "get into the heads" of casino personnel. I call it "DUE DILLIGENCE." As an ex-stock broker, I was familiar with this term, which meant "find out all you can about a particular stock, IPO, prospectus etc." I decided to study what I call "Reading the Pit"... ...enter your member login information below to read this article/newsletter...
