Our lead article this month is a great one. Joe Pane summarizes in great detail what happened to him at the Palm's casino in Las Vegas after he hit a royal flush (must read). Vinny DeCarlo's rant this month deals with the elimination of the box person at the craps table. We have a blackjack report on the newly opened Downtown Grand Casino in Las Vegas (by Stu D. Hoss), and the second part on the casinos in Laughlin (by KC Brooks). Frank Scoblete writes about his recent visit to several casinos in Atlantic City (it wasn't a flattering report) and he summarizes the current playing conditions in all the casinos. Mark Greutze does a great job summarizing all the side bets you'll find in the casinos in Pennsylvania. On the blackjack tournament front, Monkesystem describes a tournament he played in Iowa, including offering some great tournament playing and betting tips. If you want the skinny on casino hosts, read the excerpt from the book More Frugal Gambling by Jean Scott. Lastly, Jerry "Stickman" provides some excellent strategy for short pay and progressive Double Bonus Poker (video poker). Our blackjack tournament summary will resume next month.
