We begin this month's issue with an article by Vinny DeCarlo that gives us a glimpse of some of the darker sides to working in casino surveillance. We have several blackjack reports this month; two from Las Vegas, the first covering the Santa Fe Station casino (some very good blackjack games, by Stu D. Hoss), and the other on the MGM Grand and Tropicana casinos (also some good games, by KC Brooks); three casinos in Albuquerque, NM (good playing conditions, by JPB); four casinos in Tunica, including recent news that the biggest casino there will be shuttered (by Mark Gruetze); and all the Atlantic City Casinos (by Frank Scoblete, who also reports on where all the blackjack games have gone in A.C.). John Grochowski answers readers' questions on Caribbean Stud and Mississippi Stud poker (including providing a playing strategy for the latter popular table game), how to handle a loud and abusive blackjack table player, and examples of several "perceived skill" slot machine games. If you want some sound advice on when to walk when you are playing a video poker machine, you'll find it in Jean Scott's great article. Jerry Stickman continues his review of deuces wild video poker games, this month with Double Deuces (including a complete playing strategy for this game). Lastly, we have the schedule of upcoming blackjack tournaments across the country courtesy of www.blackjacktournaments.com.
