We begin this month's issue of the BJI with an insider's story from Vinny DeCarlo on what transpired during and after a Casino Directors' staff meeting. (You won't believe what happened.) We have several blackjack and trip reports that highlight some very good blackjack games: SLS Las Vegas (by Stu D. Hoss); Boulder Station and Arizona Charlie's in Las Vegas (by KC Brooks); Atlantic City (by Frank Scoblete); and San Juan Puerto Rico (by JPB). Paul Wilson offers some great pointers for basic strategy players and card counters when visiting a casino for the first time (great read). John Grochowski answers readers' questions dealing with the 21+3 blackjack side bet (interesting points made by Grochowski); the odds of being dealt three 4s on three consecutive hands in Double Double Bonus; and when you should break up a full house containing three aces when you play video poker. Jerry "Stickman" presents a complete playing strategy for the interesting video poker game called Pick'Em (or Pick or Pair). My friend Dick Arendt writes a blog for the residents of Sun City Anthem in Henderson, NV (Anthem Opinions) and he graciously allowed me to publish an article he wrote recently in his blog about what's new in Las Vegas (in words and pictures ... you'll enjoy reading his article and seeing the photos).
