This month we have several reports on playing conditions covering the following casinos/locations: South Point and Silverton casinos in Las Vegas (by KC Brooks); Casino Queen (IL) and Southland Park (AR) (by Stu D. Hoss); Seattle area casinos (by JPB); and several casinos in Ireland (by Steve Bourie). There is some very worthwhile information on Spanish 21 in JPBs Seattle report worth a read; likewise, I found the rules and regulations for casinos in Ireland most interesting and unique. If you don't know what a blackjack i-Table is all about and how it works, check out Stu D. Hoss's report for the details. If you want to learn about all the advanced playing techniques (other than card counting) used by blackjack pros these days, read Mark Gruetze's article. Paul Wilson reminds us of some of the tell-tale signs of card counters; worth reviewing for tips on how to stay under the casino radar when you play. The football season is just around the corner and Joe "Reload" Freda offers you several tips on how to bet on the games. John Grochowski answers some interesting questions dealing with comps for blackjack players; the odds of getting a royal flush playing a Super Time Pay video poker machine; and the usual request by a casino attendant to "play off" a just hit royal flush. Jerry "Stickman's" video poker column this month is terrific because it contains strategies that you can use (or generate yourself) for improving your chances of finishing in the money in lucrative video poker tournaments. Lastly, we have our roundup of upcoming blackjack tournaments courtesy of www.blackjacktournaments.com.
