Dear Henry, <> Dear Adjara, I calculated the probabilities then checked with math wiz and Blackjack Insider columnist Michael Shackelford. I’m glad I did because Michael found an error in one of one of my calculations. Probability of getting any blackjack is 4.82%. Probability of getting any suited blackjack is 1.21% (I originally calculated 0.6% cause I forgot to multiply my result by 2). Regards, Henry Tamburin ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide, Dear Eric, I have never seen the answer to your question nor have I ever attempted to compute an answer. I asked math wiz Michael Shackelford (Blackjacxk Insider columnist) if he could figure out the answer. His response was "This is rather time consuming to figure out. I’ll have to pass on it". I’m afraid this is a wee bit tougher question then most of us have time to spend on. Sorry. Regards, Henry Tamburin _______________________________________________________________________________________ Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide, Dear Jules, Math wiz and Blackjack Insider columnist Michael Shackelford states: "It is harder to get the 7,7,7 than 6,7,8. For example in a 6-deck game the probability of a suited 777 is 4*combin(6,3/combin(312,3)=0.000016. The probability of a suited 6,7,8 is 4*6^3/combin(312,3)=0.000172. Dear BJInsider.com Expert Guide, <> Dear Mike, The casinos in Las Vegas that have the best rules for 6 deck games for basic strategy player are: Aladdin, Bellagio, Caesar’s, Hard Rock, Luxor, Mandalay bay, MGM Grand, Mirage, New York New York, and Venetian (6/8 decks with ds,ls,rsa,s17). Be careful because most of these casinos also have other games with less favorable rules or also have tables with 8 decks.
